La Buona Novella

_DSC0081The musical performance narrates the Apocryphal Gospels, the “Racconto per un Cristiano Comune” (“Tale for a common Christian”) from Giovanni Giusto, is accompanied by the songs from Fabrizio de Andrè “La Buona Novella”, performed by a quartet – piano, cello, guitar, percussions – and interpreted by Angela Milanese elegant voice.

Full of historical notions and peculiar anecdotes, the recital was presented in prestigious theatrical festivals, in striking outdoors and churches gathering together hundreds of people deeply involved by the story.

After twenty years of music and theatre, Giovanni Giusto knows that no tale, not even the most fantastic, has the power of Jesus story; the mystery of the birth, the preaching, the miracles, the envies, the trial, the death warrant, the resurrection.

“I want to tell what appears to be allowed just to the priests, in my own way, a tale for a common Christian and for who wants to listen without believe. I’m doing this because I’m sure that there is no artist without an experimental path, as there is no man without a spiritual search.” (Giovanni Gusto)
