Redemption Songs

The singer offers a show that where pop and jazz are wisely blended in the personal arrangement of classics that survived trends and styles. Thanks to great musicians, who are well known and esteemed in the jazz and blues scene, the show brilliantly intertwines emotional and overwhelming energy.

The best of pop music, especially from the 80s, the melodies that are still etched in our emotional memory. “Redemption Songs: Canzoni per l’anima” is the way to combine the jazz spirit with the pop one. The melodies that accompanied our embark on teenage years found new life in this project, thanks to free improvisation and sensible interpretation; this is “Redemption Songs: Canzoni per l’anima”.  Along with the man Angela chose, and the friends she shared her career with, she wanted to set this work that actually rises live with arrangement ideas from everybody. “Canzoni per l’anima” in other words redemption songs, because their interpretation, different each time, in studio as live, is capable of moving and changing something inside the musicians and the listeners, as an experience, a journey, an encounter; because music is a dream, and we like to keep dreaming.
